Case Battles turn unboxing into a head-to-head sport: several seats open identical cases side by side, values are tallied, and one player walks away with everything on the table. FakeStake's Battles mode recreates the format against bots with virtual currency — 2 to 4 seats, up to 8 rounds per battle, live side-by-side reels, and the full winner-takes-all payout of every item pulled by every seat. It runs on the exact same provably-fair case engine as the CS2 Cases page (same odds, same ~92% case RTP), with a Crazy mode that flips the goal on its head: lowest total wins.

You build the battle, buy in for the case cost, and every seat — you plus the bots — opens the same case list in sync. After the last round, totals are compared and the winning seat takes the entire pool of items into its inventory.
- Choose 2, 3 or 4 seats and stack 1 to 8 cases into the battle lineup.
- Every seat pays the same buy-in and opens the same cases — no seat has better odds.
- Classic mode: the highest combined item value wins. Crazy mode: the LOWEST total wins.
- The winner takes every item pulled by every seat — a 4-seat battle pays roughly 4× your pulls when you win.
- Bots roll on the same provably-fair seed chain as you; their pulls are as random as yours.
The Math of Winner-Takes-All
Battles don't change the underlying case economics — every seat still opens ~92%-RTP cases — they concentrate the variance. Your expected return is the same as opening the cases alone; what changes is the shape: most battles return zero, and wins return several battles' worth at once.
| Format | Win Frequency (symmetric) | Payout Shape |
|---|---|---|
| 1v1 (2 seats) | ~50% | Double-or-nothing on the round |
| 3 seats | ~33% | Triple-or-nothing |
| 4 seats | ~25% | Quadruple-or-nothing |
| Crazy mode | same as above | Cheapest pulls win the pool |
Classic vs Crazy
Classic rewards the seat that hits the rare tier; Crazy rewards the seat that avoids it, which turns every purple flash on your own reel into bad news. Crazy is the mathematically identical mirror image, but it feels completely different — and that feeling is worth experiencing on play money before it ever costs anything.
Strategy Notes
With symmetric seats and identical cases, there is no edge to find between formats — only variance choices. A few things the simulator makes obvious quickly:
- More seats = rarer, bigger wins. If you want session longevity, fight 1v1; if you want jackpot shape, go 4-seat.
- Case choice matters more than format: a battle of high-variance cases is decided by one special pull; cheap-case battles are coin flips around the floor tier.
- Crazy mode punishes exactly what Classic celebrates — running both back to back is the fastest way to feel how arbitrary short-run luck is.
- Budget in battles, not cases: one 4-seat, 8-round battle is 8 case buys that most likely return nothing.
