1. Who We Are (Data Controller)

FakeStake (fakestake.fun) is a free browser-based casino simulator — all play uses virtual currency and no real money is involved. The data controller within the meaning of the GDPR is the operator of fakestake.fun. For every privacy matter, including exercising your rights, contact: contact@fakestake.fun

2. What Data We Collect

• Account data (only if you sign in): signing in works exclusively through Google. We then receive and store your Google account e-mail address, display name and profile picture, plus the nickname you choose on FakeStake. Your account also stores gameplay data: ranked balance, game statistics, round history, virtual inventories and provably-fair seeds.
• Publicly visible profile: your nickname, avatar and game results appear on public leaderboards and on your public profile page. Your e-mail address is never shown publicly.
• Analytics (only with your consent): if you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 collects usage data (pages visited, session duration, approximate country/region, browser type). We serve no ads and set no advertising identifiers; ad-related consent signals stay permanently denied.
• Feedback form: messages sent through the feedback widget (game requests / bug reports) contain only the text you type and are relayed to our mailbox by Web3Forms. The form does not ask for your name or e-mail.
• Stored in your browser (localStorage): your cookie-consent and age-confirmation choices, your login session token, and — for play without an account — your virtual balance, game settings, bet history and client seeds. Logged-out gameplay data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
• Technical logs: our infrastructure providers keep short-lived standard server logs (e.g. requests, errors) needed to run and secure the service.

3. Why We Process It (Legal Bases)

• Running your account and the games (balances, stats, inventories, seeds) — performance of our terms with you.
• Public leaderboards and profiles — our legitimate interest in a functioning competitive simulator; you can leave the rankings at any time by resetting or deleting your account.
• Fair-play protection (server-side outcome validation, anti-cheat checks, account blocks) — our legitimate interest in keeping results honest.
• Analytics — exclusively your consent (cookie banner); you can play with analytics rejected.
• Feedback — our legitimate interest in fixing bugs and improving games.

We do not sell personal data and we do not build advertising profiles.

4. Processors & Where Data Lives

We use a small set of service providers acting as processors: Supabase (authentication and database; hosted on AWS in the USA, us-east-1), Cloudflare (site hosting, CDN and asset storage), Google (Google sign-in; Google Analytics 4 if you consent) and Web3Forms (feedback relay). Some of these providers process data outside the EEA (notably in the USA); such transfers rely on GDPR-compliant safeguards (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses of the respective provider). 5. Retention

• Account data is kept until you delete your account.
• Detailed game-round history is automatically deleted after about 60 days; only aggregated statistics (e.g. daily totals) remain.
• Deleting your account (Settings → Danger Zone) erases your data across our database — profile, e-mail, statistics, inventories, and any legacy marketing or referral records linked to your account — including your login itself.
• Local browser data (balance, settings, consents) stays on your device until you clear it.

6. Cookies

The only cookies we set are Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) — and only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you reject, the analytics library is not even loaded. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. To change a previous choice, clear this site's data in your browser (the banner will ask again) or write to us.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Two of these work self-service:

• Delete account (Settings → Danger Zone) — permanently erases your account and all associated data.
• Reset account (Settings) — wipes balances, statistics, inventories and leaderboard entries while keeping your login.

For anything else contact contact@fakestake.fun. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).

8. Children

This site is intended for users 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors — if you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third-Party Links

The site contains clearly marked affiliate links to external real-money casino platforms. Clicking them takes you to third-party sites with their own privacy policies; we receive no personal data back from those sites. We are not responsible for their data practices.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
