R.I.P City Slot Review — Free Demo Guide

R.I.P City is Hacksaw Gaming's old-school cartoon slapstick — a game of cat and mouse — not a Nolimit City game, as this page claimed until 2026-09-15, and not a zombie slot either. The old guide described a game that does not exist; what is actually here is a 5 reels × 5 rows board with 19 paylines.

How R.I.P City Works

The board is 5 reels × 5 rows with 19 paylines. The Wild Cat can drop down into an expanded wild, which is the base game's best moment, and 3 FS scatters: 10 free spins in the Ro$$ Bonus. Hacksaw keeps the rule set short here — there is no ladder of mechanics to learn, and that is a large part of the game's charm.

• ✓Grid: 5 reels × 5 rows.
• ✓Lines: 19 paylines.
• ✓Theme: old-school cartoon slapstick — a game of cat and mouse.
• ✓Wild Cat: the Wild Cat can drop down into an expanded wild.
• ✓Free spins: 3 FS scatters: 10 free spins in the Ro$$ Bonus.
• ✓Bonus buy: Ro$$ Bonus 110×, Maxx Bonus 2,000×; FeatureSpins at 3×, 20× and 50×.

RTP, Volatility and Max Win

Hacksaw publishes the numbers for this one: 96.22% default, 94.27%, 92.32% and 88.02% for the reduced builds, a ceiling of 12,500× and a volatility rating of 3 of 5 (Hacksaw's scale). That rating sits in the middle of the studio's scale, which matches how the game plays.

What to Watch in the Demo

Watch how often the Wild Cat drops in and what the board looks like when it does not. In a game with a middling volatility rating, the ordinary spin matters more than in a high-variance title, and the ordinary spin is what a demo shows you honestly. The larger buy is priced far above the smaller one, so compare what each actually delivers before deciding either is worth it.

Playing R.I.P City Free

The demo runs in a provider frame on play money kept separate from your FakeStake balance. No signup, no deposit — and with a rule set this short, twenty minutes is enough to know whether you like it.

Who R.I.P City Is For

For players who want a lighter game with a clean rule set and a mid-range volatility rating. Not for players hunting extreme ceilings.

• ✓Do not read the cartoon art as a low-stakes game — the ceiling is real and so are the dry stretches.
• ✓Use the demo to compare the two buy prices; the expensive one is a different round, not just a bigger one.
